Bill Reburn was somewhat right in his comment that 1600x1200 @ 75 Hz is the max; that's the highest resolution that your computer can do at millions of colors with the internal LCD still on. The video card can go up to at least 1920x1440 at 75 Hz; millions of colors with the internal LCD off, or thousands with the internal LCD on.
