Well here's a conundrum...I have VPC 5 with Windows 98, and although I have been able to load it fine, and get it to work, the darn thing seems to corrupt my Mac OS system everytime I use it. What is the correct way to set this beast up? I bought an actual legit cd but it came with no manuals. I have been trying to set it up on a seperate partition--is this an incorrect way? Is #5 just a dog? > Date: Mon, 19 Dec 2005 17:51:37 -0500 > From: Lists <lists at tntluoma.com> > Subject: [Ti] Re: Virtual PC question > To: "A place to discuss Apple's Titanium computers." > > On Dec 19, 2005, at 11:29 AM, mac2 wrote: > >> Should I stick with Virtual PC 6.0, should I hunt down a copy of >> 6.1, or should I purchase a new copy of 7.0 from m$??? > > If you have a legal copy of VPC6, go ahead and use 6.1 > > There is no reason for you to buy VPC 7 as someone said that Solaris > won't even run in it. > > BTW to "cross post" something, send 1 message to 2 (or more) lists. > That way people who respond to it on one list (who are on the other) > can appropriately direct their replies.
