Can J or somebody else be more specific? :-) Bill talked about 
background pictures and I certainly can't find anywhere that I can fade 
the background pictures on the Tibook 400. Not fade the screensaver 
either for that matter.  Maybe the setting alternatives are only 
visable on the Mac that can use the fading function.

In that case Bill should be able to confirm that, since he can compare 
the settings on his Macs. :-)
