[Ti] system extension cannot be used

I have never seen this before.

I get a window that comes up, telling me that a [specific] system 
extension was installed improperly and cannot be used.

It is:		AppleUSBCDCACMdata.kext

Does anyone have a clue what this is, and why I am being told that it 
was not installed properly?

More importantly, how do I install it properly?
