NOW I get the message, immediately upon start-up: system extension cannot be used ....blah blah...... AppleSlewClock.kext WHAT on earth is this? The name sounds like a joke. I wonder what can be the process that is causing a message to say that this or that extension is not installed properly. What does 'properly' mean? I never installed them personally, so if they are not installed properly, what does that mean? Do I just re-install 10.3.8 from a SAFE start up ? When I run Internet Connect, the previous message about AppleUSBCDCACMdata.kext appears again, twice. regards, Trevor
