[Ti] Age old wake from sleep issue fixed?

According to information about the most recent Mac OS update (3.8) 
Apple have fixed the issue with the Ti 400/500 where the computer wakes 
from sleep when you lift up the screen, but the screen is black and the 
computer does not respond. Reclosing and opening the screen normally 
fixes it....

Will be interesting to see if this problem has finally been fixed .... 
5 years on !
