When I need it I unplug one end of the F/Wire cable from he "clip" and plug it into the camera and plug the other end into the P/B, the rest of the cable remains coiled and secured by the inside of the "clip". Then when I've finished, I unplug the F/Wire cable from the P/B and the camera and push both end back into either side of the "clip" and then toss the spooled cable back into my bag.
