[Ti] Save Word .doc to PC?

Hi All,

Next week I'll be travelling with my wife & she needs to use my 800MHz
TiG4 (OS/X v. 10.3.8) to do some work while we're gone. She'll be
creating some Word .docs & needs to save them on some sort of
removable media to take back to her office which is a Win environment.

I want to let her use one of my USB flash drives, but don't know how
to format it to work in her work computer. Does she have to take it &
format it on her PC? Can I somehow format it on my Mac so it works on
a PC?

I also have a USB Zip drive but I've had problems in the past using it
cross-platform. I can always burn it to a CD-R for her to take, right?
At least I never have problems doing this with image files.

So what's the best approach to this problem? Am I missing something?
