What? That makes as much sense as Apple becoming a chip fabber. There's no
logic behind the statement.

If you think that, you have no idea what's in Jobs' heart.
Jobs has always been *very* clear about his feelings towards Apple as a
whole company.

Ummm...which "unprofitable operation" is that? Considering Apple has made
metric buttloads of money for the past several years.....

Of course they haven't. But it makes no difference now. IBM has made it very
clear that their focus is not on making the kinds of chips Apple
wants/needs.
