And this is exactly what i did, twice. Total clean installs. Each time 
Safari was a dog. Much more of a dog than it used to be.

PS I notice that of all the Apple applications Safari is still a bit of 
a CPU-hog on my system. I wish I could have the speed of Firefox with 
the UI of Safari.
