[Ti] OS 9

Hello,
I have 9.1 and 9.2.1 but they will not install on this particular
machine.
After doing some research at the Apple site I found that some computers
come with an OS disc that is particular to that model. This appears to
be
one of them.
I also own every OS X released to date. I have not tried any of the
earlier
incarnation, only Panther. To load any of the earlier systems
would require an "erase and install" I believe. I installed Panther
twice and both times "it" requested the OS 9 disc. For the most part
I did the recommended installation, I did leave out the Asian Fonts
and a few other minor things that I always do.
When I try to load applications that require OS 9 to run I am told that
it (OS 9) cannot be found. There are a few "Classic" files on the HD
but they appear to be the "links" between the two OS's. There is not
a folder on the HD titled "Applications (Mac OS 9)" which is all the
others I have installed 10.3.
It sounds like I need the OS 9 disc that came with the early Ti-Books
or I'll have mail it off to the closest dealer.
Thanks
Bob
