I cannot specifically help you, just report that on four occasions in the last months, iPhoto has refused to load my iPhoto album contents. I can see no pattern to this issue. Each time, I tried all the standards repair routines. In each case, I have had to remove iPhoto, re-install it, and then import all the pictures again. Each time, I lost all the folders in which I had organised the (thousands of) photos. I am NOT impressed by this 'instability' of iPhoto. I cannot imagine how many hours of my time have been wasted by this. I could not determine where the 'corruption' was occurring. If I remember correctly, it was "somewhere else' as the backup did not help. I am currently looking at iView Media as an alternative to iPhoto. One thing I did discover, in my many hours, was that if you launch iPhoto whilst holding down the ALT key, you get to choose the iPhoto library. Overall, I would say that this iPhoto behaviour is probably the most disappointing issue I can recall with a Mac. regards, Trevor
