John - a little searching, on Arial, Microsoft and Fonts, and I found some interesting information, including how Arial seems to have replaced Helvetica as the 'standard' font. I was able to download the ARIALUNI.TTF file (22MB) which seems to be the full comprehensive Arial Unicode MS collection, and add it to my Fonts folder in Library. I made sure it was in Library and User/Library. BUT it made no difference to the Keynote files. They are still looking for ArialMS, etc fonts. If I look in Keynote at the available fonts, I have Arial with the following typefaces: regular, italic, bold, bold-italic. But no MS version. The Unicode MS I have added seems to be something different again. So I still have neither a solution nor a workaround for my Keynote problem. Trevor
