But how is Apples position improved with the Intel/competitors market
regarding whether to what extent Apple value the criteria you put
forward, one may ask. Not claiming you say that it is improved. If it
isn't, however, then whatever Apple get from Intel must be regarded by
Apple to be of a higher value for the company (and hopefully that means
for their customers) that what IBM could have provided.

Maybe Apple should have gone into the player market as well instead. iPlay?
