Mikael - you sound like a scientist ! I agree that at the moment it is just a hypothesis, based on the data I have. No proof as such. If I had a DVD-RW, I could try the same burn with different applications, to isolate whether it is a media or application issue. If I went back and tried again to burn the same content at 4.25 Gb, and I get the problem again, after 10 problem free burns, I think it points strongly to the Toast. I would like to identify the problem specifically, so may carry out these 2 experiments, record the results in my Laboratory Notebook, and will report back. regards, Trevor (scientist)
