Yes it is.  You can get a Daystar 1.92 or 2.0 Ghz update for your 1.0  
Al Book.  It uses a PowerPC MPC 7447A processor and will outbenchmark  
the MacBook Pro on the full battery of Xbench tests after upgrade.
