I found with Ti 400 that I didn't clean often enough, and so they did
start etching into the surface. For this reason I asked a friend of mine
who is a costume designed to cut up a piece of chamois leather to the
dimensions of the keyboard. This made a perfect cover.
With my Al 1.67 I have no problems with marks on the screen whatsoever.
I'm not using the cover. I am cleaning the screen regularly though.
