[Ti] iSight & firewire 800

hi
a friend's 17" powerbook has a broken firewire 400 port. can she use  
her isight on the firewire 800 port with an appropriate cable (fw 400  
to 800 from belkin for ex.)?

if it works for drives, it should work for the isight too, no?
