Since it sounds like you're already running Macs, maybe you should add up
the cost of the platform switch.  Things such as replacing some 3rd party
software with the Windows versions, training, other hardware you may have
that is perhaps now incompatible and needs to be replaced ... stuff like
that.  If his decision is based only on cost (not counting being based on
bias) then try to use cost to show him why his decision is flawed.  It would
depend highly on the specifics of your situation, but may be worth a shot.
