[Ti] MacBooks - why the lack of a built in scroll ball?

Doesn't all newer powerbooks (I think "powerbook" sound so much better
than "macbook") come with trackpad scroll functionality? That may be one
reason why not having a dedicated scroll ball.

Also, now when there isn't one you'll be buying a mighty mouse for it,
right? Another reason.
