Maybe so, but this is much less so than in the nities. Macs have problems and need support. Often Apple is not as good helping as the alternatives. I do this as part of my living, so I think I know of Macs with problems. I do think that PCs have more stupid problems with very often the real solution coming from outside Microsoft. Don't get me started on drivers. At least Windows users have drivers for most things. I think Gartner Group still do comparisons between platforms regarding Total Ownership Costs. I'd suggest companies to check them out from time to time, or do their own math. Often Macs come out as meaning a lower cost. But except Total Ownership Costs, this getting far off topic.
