[Ti] Disc Utility Problems

Hello,

I have a 550 Ti-Book with 10.3.9 installed.
I repair permissions after installing software and just about
anytime things seem to be acting a little more strangely than usual.

When I tried to run the utility a couple of days ago, it seemed ok
for the first two minutes or so but then up popped a dialogue box
stating:

Disc Utility internal error

Disc Utility has lost its connection with the Disk Management Tool
and cannot continue. Please quit and relaunch Disk Utility.

Of course it repeats over and over.

Tech Tools found no problems.

What did I screw up this time?
