[Ti] Replacing CD drive in TI 500

With some trepidation I am gonna attempt to replace a bum CD drive. I  
picked up an Apple one on eBay. So far I have been warned about the  
fragility of the connector to the mother board. Any other caveats? I  
know I should let a pro do it but it is too expensive for me at this  
time. If enough users here warm me away from doing it myself, I will  
continue to use an external CD drive I have and have a pro do it when  
$$$$ loosens up...
