I would suspect ram failure. Carefully lift up the keyboard and check to make sure the ram is seated properly. Try and restart. If you still get those same 3 notes, try putting in known good ram. -----Original Message----- From: Murray Kastner <murrayka at mac.com> To: A place to discuss Apple's Titanium computers. <titanium at listserver.themacintoshguy.com> Sent: Tue, 30 May 2006 21:38:30 -0400 Subject: [Ti] Reviving the dead? Well, here I am with my very good friend in Pittsfield and he has a tale of woe. He has the very same G4 15" PB I have and his is dead. But really dead. So I would entertain any and all suggestions. Trying to boot, all we get is three beeps and nothing happens. Safe boot does not work; neither does trying to boot off the initial 10.4 Disc that came with it. Have you ever seen something like this? Have any ideas? Any and all help appreciated.
