As technically advanced as the iPhone may be (at least by North American standards), the real dark horse in all this is the Apple TV. When you look at the implications of what Apple has done here, you have to really admire the genius behind it. If the Apple TV takes off (which it will), cable companies and satellite providers are going to have to respond very quickly or have the rug slowly pulled out from under them. Who wants to bother with today's ways of watching TV when for a couple of bucks you can download whatever you want to watch, and schedule it at your leisure to beam to your TV.
