A shift of focus away from designs with useability and more on to  
purely pretty looking designs.

Apple is becoming the brand of the fashion conscious.

I was more excited about the Newton personally, and rushed out to get  
one at the time.

I will probably buy an iPhone in 2009, after users have complained  
about the lack of battery replacement option. Apple probably won't  
even make it to Europe with this until 2008 anyway.

Anyway back to work for me. I'd better start saving up for an Intel  
Macbook Pro.
