Last night, I installed (via Software Update) the Security Update 2008-002. After the required restart, I seem to have a corrupted directory and a kernel panic. The Report for the latter says: "IOGMD: not wired for the IODMACommand" @/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1228.3.13/iokit/Kernel/IOMemoryDescriptor.cpp:1305 which means nothing to me.... After starting up once with my external FW400 disk (which has a SuperDuper disk clone on it), I have now been able to re-start from the internal hard disk, and everything seems to be OK.... Anyone else had any puzzling consequences of the Security Update? regards, Trevor -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
