Dear Arne, Happened to me too last year (Ti 1 GHz). I figured that, after 5 years of constant use, it was OK to let it go. Replacing the screen would not be worth the expense involved. I did connect it to an external monitor, backed up all the HD's contents and bought a MacBook Pro. Just the other week it ran another 10.4 update and looked good. But now I cannot seem to be able to get it going again. The screen is broken, so I have attached a secondary screen which has worked fine so far. However, it all stays black now. I hear it make the original apple startup sound and then... it rattles its harddisk and stays black. > > > Any thoughts?> > > Arne > _______________________________________________ > Titanium mailing list > Titanium at listserver.themacintoshguy.com > http://listserver.themacintoshguy.com/mailman/listinfo/titanium -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
