I can offer a few suggestions. Check the account settings and make sure they are not set to delete incoming messages. Are these set up as POP3 or IMAP... I suggest using IMAP on the .mac and gmail. gmail ... I always have to use their web interface to delete e-mail messages. If I use Mail, sometimes it deletes them, sometime it does not...
