<div>My Ti 667MHz, 1GB RAM, Combo Drive DVI is seriously on the skids. </div>
<div>I replaced the optical drive last year. </div>
<div>The FW port died 1.5 yrs ago, bought a PCMICA FW Card and used the card slot as my FW port.</div>

<div>The top RAM slot clips broke, so the memory no longer stays in the slot. Starting up is a hit or miss and I always have to hit the option key and type in my password to get it started. </div>

<div>Then once started One or all these things will happen. </div>
<div>1-will freeze </div>
<div>2-go to sleep and not wake up</div>
<div>3-shut off automatically</div>
<div>4-Ding 3x</div>

<div>Thus far I figure I will have to:</div>
<div>1-replace motherboard (can do myself)</div>
<div>2-replace ram slots? (my tech friend can do)</div>

<div>Sell the parts on e-bay and save for a 12" 1.5, superdrive, 80GBHD?</div>
<div>The airport works, </div>
<div>The RAM is good</div>

<div>I would really like to salvage it if possible. I'd rather put in the labor and save the $$. </div>

<div>I know it is not long for this world, but I can't afford to totally replace it. So... </div>
