Peter, I have noticed printing with OS X and my HP1200 has been very slow, sometimes to the point of not printing, yet print control says it is an active job. Sometimes if I unplug/plug the usb cable it will go ahead and print right away like it's just been waiting for the cable. Printing with Safari has been similar. After reading your post this morning I printed the page at www.apple.com three times and it took about two minutes each time. I drug up Internet Explorer and it took a minute and twenty seconds. I have updated to the latest Safari beta release but I can't say there has been a noticeable change in printing. I have a G4/DP 1.25/FW800, 1GB Ram and after moving to 10.2.5 I felt (no measurements) printing might have been happening faster but there is still more of a wait then when this printer was attached to a PC which was almost instant. It's not on a networked printer so I can't speak to that aspect. George
