The first is to use a "universal" bookmark utility such as URL Manager Pro. I've been a user of UMP for years, and it's a great utility. I've had a few problems with it under OS X, but many other people have been perfectly happy with it. The second option is a synchronization utility. Bookit <http://www.everydaysoftware.net/bookit/> is my favorite. When you run Bookit it gives you a list of all your browsers' bookmarks; you choose one as your "main" file, and tell it which others you want to synchronize with the main file. It then gives you a list of all the bookmarks in other browsers that don't exist in your main file. You choose which ones to synchronize (or you can synchronize all of them). Finally, you can choose whether to write your new "master" set of bookmarks to each of the other browsers' bookmarks. (This sounds like a lot of steps, but it's really very easy.) Bookit also lets you use a Dockling or menu to access your "master" bookmarks file, much like URL Manager Pro. The main differences between URL Manager Pro and Bookit are that with UMP, you add bookmarks to, and access bookmarks from, a universal shared bookmarks file, whereas with Bookit you use each browser's own bookmarks/favorites menu. With Bookit, since you're using each browser's own bookmarks, you have to periodically synchronize your bookmarks between browsers. It looks like either of this solve your problem. -- ------------------------------------- <http://www.DanFrakes.com/> <http://www.MacOSXPowerTools.com> -------------------------------------
