Ximian Evolution on OSX

This question may be off topic or even sent to the wrong list, but has
anyone here compiled and have working Ximian's Evolution? Evolution is a
very nice email client that offers a large variety of features like
threaded-email, calendar, addressbook, etc. I run this on a laptop
currently running RedHat Linux release 8.0 and KDE, but wondered if it
would build successfully on a MAC.
