Printing from classic mode

I finally did a clean install of OS 9.1. Then I deleted my previous system
folder( OS 9.2.2) and upgraded the new OS from 9.1 to 9.2.2. At that point,
I installed printer drivers again. I was then able to print when booted into
OS 9.2.2 as well as in classic.
I am not sure what caused the problem in the first place. When I  logged out
at 2AM and tried to log in again, the system was very slow. I need to
troubleshoot that issue today. Any suggestions?
I do have TechTool 3 but not TechTool 3.
