Portable Powerpoint on CD with movies?

Howdy all - I'm trying to make a CD with a PowerPoint presentation on 
it that will play on a Mac and a PC. The problem I'm having is that it 
won't seem to work on either because PowerPoint insists on using 
absolute pathnames to the movie files, so it can never follow the link 
to the content when mounted as a CD. Anyone know a solution to this?
