reader for multi-part news attachments

Anyone know of a reader for multi-part news attachments?  I normally 
read news in Netscape, and it seems to not just lack this feature, but 
even makes it positively difficult to download the parts and assemble 
them manually.

I tried a program called Bluebeard I found on Versiontracker - seems to 
have a lot of potential, but not yet ready for prime time. It downloads 
the parts, but won't assemble them.
