[X-SW] G3 ibook and cameras

I'd concentrate on what you can do BEFORE you get the camera.

1. Check with the camera manufacturer for OS X software.
2. Take your iBook to the store and try connecting it to the camera in 
case the camera uses an OEM driver already embedded in OS X. Fire up 
iPhoto and click on Import. You'll see right away if it's recognized.
3. If 1 and 2 fail, look at cameras that are on the list. Life's too 
short.

You could probably use a media reader as an intermediate step to 
getting the pics into the iBook but I wouldn't do this for a new 
purchase; one more thing to carry around.
