No, they're  not. Look at the "from" in all the messages. This poor guy's
server only sent 2 messages. The rest are from well-meaning listmates who
followed the instructions in the email (which says to reply) without
thinking it through.

Yes, this guy's spam filter shouldn't have sent the original message to the
list. But the follow-through is not his fault and he shouldn't be banned,
IMO.
