Since it is Winter (well, in some parts of the world), the iPod battery is colder at night (unless
you sleep with it...), and cold temps are not good for said battery. One thing I do is leave it by
the heat register, far enough that it won't get baked, but close that it won't "cool down". Try
keeping it warm at night, if this is your situation. It has helped my battery life.
