Even Bill Gates had his head in the clouds when he decided that 640k was more than anyone would ever need for a PC (it was 10 times what was standard at the time he was stealing, er, writing DOS.) Allow me to thank everyone who offered their help with my problem. Edwin gave me the most clues which allowed me to solve the problem.
