I used the Sonnet G4/500 ZIF upgrade in my B&W G3/400. It's wonderful. Check
out the Sonnet Tech products. (I have no connection with this company.)

For any G3 B&W owners: I'd also suggest using a full 1GB or RAM since memory
prices are so cheap.
Also, since I do iMovie editing, I've added an internal 250GB drive and
replaced the CD drive with a Pioneer DVD-106 writer. For full details on
