Well, I'll join your rant. I had a perfectly good 9500 that met all my needs
but one - the new versions of Dreamweaver and Explorer would not run
on any pre-G3 machine.

Now I see that some sites are asking me to upgrade my Explorer 4.5
browser on the iBook even though that machine is only 3 years old.
Okay, but I seem to remember higher versions of Explorer need
more RAM or there's some problem in upgrading.

Just cranky.

Oh, and my present G4 is always asking me to update software, but
I don't know if I want to and actually the last time I tried, stuff didn't
download well because I am only on a dialup connection.

Oh well.
