Thanks Scott I am just cleaning it up. the person I bought it from wiped it clean but just set it up. So I just needed to change some of the settings. Last night I set it up for DSL service the hardest part was finding the PDF file telling me how to connect to the modem. I was able to take the ibook into work and logged on to my company's network real easy. With out IT help which is not much help anyways:) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott" <j-scotty at attbi.com> To: "Mac OS X Newbies" <X-Newbies at lists.themacintoshguy.com> Sent: Saturday, November 23, 2002 12:33 AM Subject: Re: [X Newbies] changing name of computer in OSX > > On Friday, November 22, 2002, at 12:27 PM, Ed Wiser wrote: > > > Here is newbie question.
