[X Newbies] Disappearing subject line in Sent Mail?

Ok I'm testing it......so far, if I do not actually hit a key in the 
subject space, I don't get a subject in my sent mail, or in the mail's 
header. <shrug> As long as I know my way around it, I'm not complaining.
