If not there, check the discussion boards on Apple.com.I can't remember exactly where I read of this but I do recall reading that if a certain firmware update was not installed on some older iMacs, the symptoms you describe would result. The good news is there **IS** a cure, you're just going to have to dig it out or maybe there is someone with a better memory who can help. Joe Ellis
