Locations dissapearing

Just started My TiBook today, and my locations were all gone in Network 
settings.  I put them all back but they will not save.  Haven't had a 
problem with it before.  Don't remember doing anything different with 
it recently.  Was trying to find a program yesterday that would print a 
font book, so I tried several bits of shareware, but wouldn't think 
that would blow the network preferences away.  I will try to repair 
permissions to see if that helps.  Anybody have another idea.
