In that context, I and most other folks who responded assumed /System/Library/Fonts, which many of us suggested not to modify. But I could be wrong. : What would be the difference in dropping them in both/either/one? The fonts in /System/Library/Fonts are used by OS X. Modifying those fonts may mess up any or all the GUI elements.
