Hi Anne, Do you have Column View on, so that you can see that the Documents folder you're seeing each time is indeed the same one? Do you have OS 9 installed on the same partition as OS X? The only reason I ask is that I don't see a Documents folder when I click on the Computer icon in a Finder window. But I have my OS 9 installed on a separate partition on this machine and on most of my other machines I don't have OS 9 installed at all. I'd turn on Column View (if you don't have it on), then click on each icon (home and computer) and verify that you really are seeing the same folder. I think the Computer/Documents is not the same as the Home/Documents or Favorite/Documents folder. If the folder is indeed the same one, then something strange is going on. Gretchen
