Looks like you got several answers. Here's one more way.

Open the window, hit command-A (select all), command-C (copy), open 
your text or PDF editor of choice and hit command-V (paste). Note that 
this will only give you file names. If you want more info, there are 
many variations of the ls command that was suggested earlier.
