We have recently bought an Apple LCD display (17"), after comparing a few
different brands.

Given that we live in country Australia, the available choices might not be
the absolute best the market could offer - however, I find that the higher
price we ended up paying for the Apple LCD display is more than justified
by far superior clarity and readability, and I have no reason to look back
on our choice.
